User Obligations and Responsibilities
Conduct Requirements
As a user of our services, you agree to:

- 3. Respectful Behavior: Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect and professionalism
- 4. Intellectual Property Respect: Honor all intellectual property rights and refrain from unauthorized copying, distribution, or use of course materials
- 5. Equipment Care: Handle all studio equipment, cameras, and facilities with appropriate care and follow safety guidelines
- 6. Punctuality: Arrive on time for scheduled classes and respect the time commitments of instructors and other students
- 7. Communication: Respond promptly to communications from MotionCraft Studios regarding your enrollment or course participation
Prohibited Conduct
You expressly agree not to:
- 1. Illegal Activities: Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
- 2. Harassment: Engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward any individual
- 3. Unauthorized Access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or restricted areas
- 4. Content Theft: Copy, reproduce, distribute, or sell course materials without express written permission
- 5. Disruption: Disrupt classes, interfere with instructors, or negatively impact other students' learning experiences
- 6. Fraudulent Activity: Provide false information, engage in payment fraud, or attempt to deceive MotionCraft Studios
- 7. Competitive Use: Use knowledge or materials gained from our courses to directly compete with MotionCraft Studios
- 8. Equipment Misuse: Damage, steal, or misuse studio equipment, cameras, or other property
Content Guidelines
When creating or submitting content as part of your coursework:
- • Ensure all content is your original work or that you have proper rights and licenses
- • Do not include offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate material
- • Respect privacy rights of individuals appearing in your work
- • Comply with music licensing and copyright laws
- • Obtain necessary permissions for filming in public or private locations
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MotionCraft Studios, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms and Conditions, your use of our services, or your violation of any rights of third parties.
Course Enrollment and Attendance
Enrollment Process
- Registration: Course enrollment is completed upon payment of the course fee and receipt of confirmation
- Prerequisites: Some courses may require prerequisite skills or experience; you are responsible for ensuring you meet these requirements
- Age Requirements: Participants must be 18 years or older, or have parental consent if younger
- Class Size: Enrollment is subject to availability and minimum/maximum class size requirements
- Course Changes: We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel courses if enrollment is insufficient or due to unforeseen circumstances
Attendance and Participation
- Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes; excessive absences may affect your ability to complete the course
- Tardiness: Arriving late disrupts the class; repeated tardiness may result in dismissal from the course
- Make-Up Sessions: Limited make-up opportunities may be available for legitimate absences with advance notice
- Active Participation: Students are expected to actively participate in exercises, projects, and class discussions
- Completion Requirements: Students must complete all required assignments and projects to receive course completion recognition
Liability and Warranties
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MotionCraft Studios provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- • Guarantees regarding the quality, accuracy, or completeness of course content
- • Assurances of specific career outcomes, employment prospects, or income levels
- • Guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free service delivery
- • Warranties regarding third-party equipment, software, or services used in courses
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- • MotionCraft Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim
- • We are not liable for damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account or information
- • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal equipment brought to our facilities
- • We are not liable for injuries occurring on our premises except where caused by our gross negligence
Personal Property and Equipment
Students bring personal equipment and belongings to our studio at their own risk. MotionCraft Studios is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property. We recommend obtaining appropriate insurance for valuable equipment.
Legal Information and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. The courts of Tokyo shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these terms.
Dispute Resolution Process
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy:
- 1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first to resolve the matter informally through good-faith negotiations
- 2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action

Class Action Waiver

Assignment

MotionCraft Studios shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or governmental actions.
Modifications to Terms
MotionCraft Studios reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students via email or through prominent notices on our website.
Changes become effective immediately upon posting for new users and 30 days after notification for existing users. Your continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
